The tests can be performed at the same time as an IV drip treatment.

For Blood Tests/ Cannulation
Obtaining intravenous (IV) access involves inserting a needle or cannula into a vein. Complications may include: Occasionally: Discomfort, bleeding, bruising at injection site. Rarely: Inflammation in the vein used, infection, phlebitis.
If acutely unwell: I affirm I will engage with my usual healthcare provider such as my GP/ consultant or local Emergency Department.
I understand that I will be contacted by e-mail with a summary of the results from my blood tests which will have been reviewed by a GP and this will be followed up with a phone call from a Doctor to discuss the results further.
I understand that it is my responsibility to follow up on these results by arranging a full consultation with a GP if this is suggested in the written report. Effect Doctors ™M is able to connect you with a private GP if you do not have one.
I understand that any remaining samples will be destroyed by the laboratory after processing has occurred. I also understand that occasionally repeat samples may be necessitated at a later date.
